INDEPENDENT MARINE & CARGO SURVEYORS · IRAQ
Marine surveyors on the ground in Iraq.
ALMAS attends vessels, cargoes, terminals and warehouses across Iraq. From on/off-hire and bunker surveys to cargo damage, tally and loading/discharge supervision, our job is to establish the facts on site and report them clearly.
For a quick appointment, send:

- Required scope

WHAT WE DO
Field attendance built around the actual job.
We do not start with a standard sales package. We start with the appointing party’s instructions: what has to be checked, where, when and what record is needed afterward. The surveyor attends, documents what is found and keeps the report tied to the agreed scope.

View scopeHOW AN APPOINTMENT RUNS
Clear instructions in. Clear record out.
Marine work moves quickly. Our process is kept deliberately simple so the client knows what is happening without chasing for basic updates.
Appointment
We confirm the scope, location, timing and reporting requirement before mobilization.
Attendance
The surveyor records observations, measurements, documents and photographs relevant to the scope.
Operational updates
Material findings are relayed while the job is in progress when the appointment requires it.
Report
We issue a structured report supported by the records gathered on site.

LOCAL COORDINATION
Basrah-based. Available where the job is.
Assignments are coordinated from Basrah for vessels and cargo operations at Iraqi ports, terminals, anchorages, warehouses and inland locations. Umm Qasr and Khor Al Zubair are regular operating areas; other locations are arranged against the appointment.
REPORTING
The report should read like the job happened.
Our reporting is built from site notes, photographs, measurements and the documents available during attendance. The aim is not to fill pages; it is to leave the appointing party with a usable record of the condition, quantity, sequence or damage that was observed.
- Photo-supported observations
- Scope-specific findings
- Measurements and tally records where applicable
- Clear limitations when information is unavailable

MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
ISO certificates available for client compliance files.
